This is the policy that tells you what happens to your information when you visit marjoriedufektravels.com or use any of our forms, opt-ins, or scheduling tools. We've written it in plain English. If anything isn't clear, email us.
What we collect
When you fill out a form on our site or arrive here from a Facebook or Instagram ad, we may collect:
Your name and email address when you opt in to a guide, lead magnet, or planning session
Your phone number when you provide it on the FastPass intake form
The information you share with us about your wedding, date range, guest count, region preferences, and your open-ended responses
Basic device and browsing information your browser shares automatically, IP address, page visits, time on page, the page you arrived from
We collect this through standard web forms, our scheduling tool Google Calendar, our email service provider MailChimp, Clickfunnels, and the Meta Pixel.
What we do with it
Send you what you asked for. If you opted in for the 7 Things to Know Before You Book guide, we send you the guide. If you reserved a FastPass, we send you the FastPass and the intake form.
Send you occasional marketing emails about Italy weddings. When you opt in, you also opt in to messages from Marjorie about Italy travel, planning timelines, venue spotlights, and offers. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click, the link is at the bottom of every message.
Improve our ads and content. We use the Meta Pixel to understand which ads and pages perform. Meta sees that you visited our site. Meta's own privacy policy governs what they do with that information.
Prepare for our consultations. If you book a planning session, we use your responses to prepare for our conversation.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. Not to other travel agents, not to wedding vendors, not to data brokers, not to anyone. Your information stays with Marjorie and the tools we use to deliver what you asked for.
We do not share your information for marketing by other companies. Your inbox will hear from Marjorie. It won't hear from anyone else because of us.
We do not use your responses as case studies without permission. If we ever want to share anything about working with you publicly, we'll ask first.
Cookies and tracking
Our site uses cookies and tracking pixels — small pieces of code that help us understand how visitors use the site and which ads bring them here.
Meta Pixel tracks visits and conversions for our Facebook and Instagram advertising
Site analytics count page views and tell us which content brides actually read
Scheduling and email tools store the information needed to send confirmations and reminders
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features may be less smooth.
Your rights
You can:
See what we have on you. Email us and we'll send you the information we store.
Correct it. If anything's wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
Delete it. Ask us to delete your information at any time. We'll do it within 30 days, except for what we're required by law to keep.
Unsubscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe at the bottom. CliMack it any time.
If you live in California, you have additional rights under the CCPA. If you live in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under the GDPR. In either case, email us. We'll honor them.
Children
This site is for adults planning weddings. If you're under 18, please don't submit information here.
Third parties we work with
To run a small travel advisory business, we use a few tools that necessarily see your information:
Fora Travel. Marjorie is a Fora Pro Advisor. When you book travel through Marjorie, your booking information is processed through Fora's systems under Fora's privacy policy.
MailChimp sends our newsletters and ClickFunnels sends FastPass confirmations.
Google Calendar handles consultation booking.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) runs our ads and provides the pixel that measures ad performance.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy governing what they do with the information they process.

Marjorie Dufek Travels is not part of, endorsed by, or affiliated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Platforms, Inc. We advertise on Meta's platforms. That's the extent of the relationship.
Updates to this policy
When we change anything substantive in this policy, we update the "Last Updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we send a note to people on our email list.
